Our Water Retainer surfactants break down the waxy substance that coats the individual soil particles ensuring the soil can become wet and hold on to any moisture for longer periods - keeping a green and healthy lawn.

Our Water Retainer can also be applied as a preventative treatment to help hold on to the moisture in the soil for longer.  This means less water is required.  During long periods of dry weather we do recommend you water your lawn to keep it healthy. 

 

To help to conserve precious water we advise the following:

1. Aerate or spike your lawn first.

2. Water less often but for longer.  A good soaking twice a week is much better than a light watering every day.  Deep watering encourages the grass roots to grow deeper down into the soil and prevents the roots drying out quickly.
